[Remote] Media Relations Specialist

They are seeking a Media Relations Specialist to support the media team in managing day-to-day tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables for multiple accounts, and conducting media outreach and research.ResponsibilitiesConducts research as needed to support client initiatives and recommendationsDemonstrates understanding of basic media outreach practices; builds thoughtful media lists under direction of supervisor and/or account; begins outreach to select media outletsMay handle coordination of client status meetings, including proactive development of agendas and next stepsMonitors traditional media to develop reports for clients as neededTracks on opportunistic media (e.g., HARO, ProfNet, Bulldog Reporter) and flags to appropriate team members with rationaleSupports development of client deliverables as directed by members of the teamConducts research on potential company partners and vendors; liaises in support of client projects as appropriateManages administrative tasks and logistical support needs as determined by client project/programActs as media liaison to account teams and in support of client projects as appropriateBegins developing media POAs with guidance from supervisorDemonstrates flexibility in working across teams;
