[Remote] Marketing Development Representative

The Marketing Development Representative (MDR) will qualify inbound marketing leads and convert them into high-quality sales opportunities, acting as a bridge between Marketing and Sales.ResponsibilitiesRespond to inbound leads from campaigns, events, website forms, and digital channels within agreed SLAsQualify leads based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), segmentation, and buying intentEngage with prospects via email, phone, and social channels to assess needs and readinessBook discovery meetings or product demos for Sales teams (Account Managers, BDMs, SDRs)Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities and contributes to pipeline generationEnsure all opportunities are accurately logged in Salesforce with full notes and handover detailsMeet or exceed KPIs (number of qualified leads, meetings booked/held, pipeline generated)Maintain accurate activity tracking and conversion reporting in Salesforce/HubSpotFollow up on inbound campaigns using outreach sequencesProvide feedback to Marketing on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and conversion blockersCollaborate with Marketing on messaging, follow-ups, and nurture sequencesFollow defined internal processes (lead routing, opportunity creation, CRM rules)Partner with SDR/BDR teams to ensure smooth transition from inbound to outbound activitiesSkills1โ3 years of experience in lead qualification, inside sales, or customer-facing marketingStrong communication skills across phone, email, LinkedIn, and outreach toolsExperience using CRM systems such as Salesforce (or similar)Familiarity with marketing automation platforms like HubSpotAbility to quickly understand customer needs and assess buying intentAbility to clearly articulate value propositions to prospectsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple leads and follow-upsTarget-driven mindset with focus on hitting KPIs and pipeline goalsAbility to work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, and SDR/BDR teamsCompany OverviewRWS is a global AI solutions company empowering the worldโs most trusted enterprise AI.
