They are seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to support their Future Of practice, conducting both qualitative and quantitative research to provide actionable insights for studio and streaming clients.ResponsibilitiesSupport all phases of quantitative and qualitative research tied to Future of Film and Future of Series, from early design through final deliveryTranslate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative and story-driven reportsConduct ongoing landscape and trends research, tracking developments across film, television, streaming, platforms, talent, technology, and audience behaviorSource, synthesize, and contextualize information from our proprietary data, third party data (e.g., Box Office Mojo), and cultural signalsOrganize and maintain project materials, including databases, trackers, ensuring clarity, version control, and accessibilityManage survey logic proofing, link testing, and QA, ensuring clean execution prior to launchConduct data checks and number validation, supporting accuracy across reports, presentations, and data repositoriesSupport presentation development, including slide builds, script drafting, and narrative flow for client readoutsAssist with qualitative research setup and coordination, including discussion guide support, materials prep, and collaboration with moderators and operations teamsPartner closely with internal teams (programming, fieldwork, data processing, design) to keep projects moving forward on tight timelinesContribute to external-facing thinking—helping shape POVs, frameworks, and narratives that may appear in reports, presentations, or broader thought leadership momentsProvide overflow support to the broader Content Development & Marketing Strategy (CDMS) practice during non-peak Future Of periods, contributing to team-wide success and collaborationSkills1-3 years of experience in consumer insights, media research, strategy, or a related field (including strong academic research experience)You know how to connect the dots and turn complex research findings into clear, compelling narrativesYou are genuinely interested in seeking information on the 'whys,' always digging for more information to understand what makes consumers tickYou're skilled at moving from consumer insight to strategic implicationYou are a natural problem solverYou're comfortable working with data to identify trends and insights, including both structured and unstructured dataFamiliarity with any of the following data analysis techniques would be ideal: statistical significance testing, correlation analysis, multivariate analysis techniques (such as cluster/segmentation analysis) and conjoint and discrete choice analysisYou have experience using AI tools to support research, synthesis, trend tracking, or storytellingInternally-motivated who continuously strives to get things done well, regardless of challenges encounteredYou have excellent verbal communication skills and are able to communicate clearly and succinctlyYou notice when font sizes change unexpectedly or a proper noun isn't capitalizedTeam player who works collaboratively and harmoniously within a team and across teamsYou have a B.A./B.S. degree in areas such as Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics or a related fieldExperience with SPSS, Q, or advanced analytics is a plus but not requiredBenefitsFlexible/Remote work with optional usage of our great offices in Playa Vista or New YorkUnlimited PTO, volunteer days and a generous number of recharge days including a full office closure during the week of Christmas and New Year’sMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Plans401K with company matchGenerous paid Parental LeaveRegular performance evaluations with opportunities for promotions and merit increasesEducational and training reimbursement plan and other training and professional development opportunitiesEmployee perks program (includes discounts on travel, hotels, cars, fitness, movie tickets and more)Resources available for mental health, inclusive care and family buildingNRGratitude – our company-wide employee recognition programRegular team/company events and activities including annual summer and holiday partiesPet friendly headquarters and pet insurance optionsCompany OverviewNRG is a multinational insight and strategy organization at the nexus of entertainment and technology.
