[Remote] Manager of New Product Commercialization
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Genus PLC is an agricultural biotechnology pioneer, preparing for the commercial launch of a gene-edited pig that enhances animal health and sustainability. The Manager of New Product Commercialization will drive the execution of commercialization workstreams and coordinate cross-functional projects to ensure the successful launch of this innovative product.ResponsibilitiesDrive the day-to-day execution across PRP commercialization workstreams, ensuring deliverables remain on trackSupport the maintenance of clear visibility across regulatory, supply, pricing, research, and commercialization workflows by organizing inputs and ensuring updates flow to the right teamsCoordinate the work with cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Commercial, Legal, Sustainability, Product Development, Technical Services) required for program successSupport the preparation for PIC’s first PRP commercial sales by ensuring operational readiness activities are progressing as plannedConduct targeted research to identify experts, consultants, and specialized partners who can support key PRP commercialization needsCoordinate vetting, scoping, contracting, and onboarding of external resourcesDevelop concise summaries, landscape analyses, and recommendations to support strategic decisionsFacilitate follow-ups across teams to ensure decisions translate into clear actions and completed deliverablesMaintain alignment between commercial, regulatory, supply, sustainability, and R&D perspectivesSupport preparation and documentation for major meetings (internal and external)Prepare slide decks, briefing papers, decision memos, and summaries for senior leadership and global partnersTranslate complex technical or regulatory information into clear, organized, business-relevant outputsSupport the development of commercialization frameworks and go-to-market readiness materialsConduct targeted research, as needed, to inform the team on regulatory, market, or industry developments relevant to gene-edited livestock and related technologiesSupport updates to PRP pricing, market models, supply planning assumptions, and customer engagement frameworksAssist with due diligence and analysis for expansion into new geographies beyond the U.S. and early PRP markets in South AmericaSkillsAn MBA (Masters of Business Administration)0-4 years of experience in consulting, strategy, project management, operations, commercialization, or similar rolesProven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, exhibiting high levels of organizationExceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong PowerPoint and overall executive-communication capabilityStrong analytical and research skills; able to synthesize information quickly and accuratelyComfort with ambiguity, learning new scientific/technical concepts, and operating with urgencyAbility to build strong, trust-based relationships across functions and with external partnersStrong abilities for action, follow-through, and problem-solvingIntellectual curiosity and motivation to work on breakthrough innovations in agriculture and biotechnologyExperience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projectsBenefitsHealthDentalVisionFSA/HSALong and short-term disability401KTuition reimbursementPaid holidaysETO (earned time off)Company OverviewGenus is a publicly traded global company advancing animal genetics to sustainably nourish the world.
