Remote Manager for Engineering

Accountabilities • Lead 1-on-1 meetings to support team growth and performance. • Manage and elevate performance through clear goal-setting and feedback. • Coach and develop engineers at various skill levels. • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture. • Oversee planning and delivery of engineering projects. • Promote engineering best practices and oversee quality outputs. • Collaborate with different teams to ensure alignment and mitigate obstacles. • Communicate effectively across all levels, from engineers to leadership. Requirements • 5+ years managing software engineering teams. • 7+ years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor. • Experience with cloud-native environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and engineering best practices. • Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical gaps. • Commitment to developing high-performing teams. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
