About the Role
As a Mail Intake Processing Representative, you'll play a critical role in our mailroom operations, ensuring the efficient processing of sensitive healthcare information. Your day will be filled with a range of tasks, from digital printing on large production class printers to folding and inserting documents into envelopes using high-speed inserter machines. You'll work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment that demands attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Operate large production class printers to produce high-quality documents
Fold and insert documents into various envelopes using high-speed inserter machines
Verify print jobs based on documentation received, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Perform other mailroom functions as required, including postage stamping and communication completion
Work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, meeting sensitive time schedules and deadlines
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive healthcare information
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Experience working in a print or mailroom setting
Proficiency with Microsoft business software, including Excel, PDF, and Outlook
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
A high school diploma or GED
The ability to pass a background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Experience operating Neopost/Pitney Bowes Class inserters and Xerox production class printers
A background in a similar or related role, with a proven track record of success
