Remote Local SEO Expert

We are seeking a Local SEO Expert with deep experience in executing data-driven strategies that lead to measurable growth in calls, leads, and booked jobs for a home services business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on taking full ownership of local SEO—from strategy to execution—and who understands how to rank in the Google Map Pack, dominate local organic search, and convert traffic into revenue-generating customers. This is a performance-focused role where results matter. You must know what it takes to move the needle in competitive local markets and have a proven track record of doing just that. Key Responsibilities: • Build and execute comprehensive Local SEO strategies tailored to service areas and business goals. • Prioritize high-impact actions that drive visibility, local traffic, and inbound leads. • Conduct competitive research and market analysis for each target city or region. • Fully manage and optimize Google Business Profiles for all business locations and service areas. • Create and optimize location-specific landing pages to support local SEO and paid campaigns. • Continuously optimize based on data and performance KPIs. • Manage and execute Google Business Profile (GBP) verifications, ensuring accurate setup and ownership across different locations. • Resolve GBP suspensions efficiently by identifying issues, submitting reinstatement requests, and maintaining compliance with Google's guidelines. Job Requirements: • Proven experience in executing Local SEO strategies with demonstrable results. • Experience working with or for home services businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, etc.). • Strong understanding of local ranking factors and SEO tools (e.g., BrightLocal, Whitespark, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Business Profile, GSC, GA4). • Experience managing multi-location SEO strategies is a plus. • Knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals and local business schema implementation. • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven mindset. • Strong communication skills to report progress and collaborate with stakeholders.
