They are seeking a Light Industrial Sales Representative to manage customer-related activities, support sales and marketing goals, and develop relationships within the assigned territory to achieve sales targets.ResponsibilitiesExercise primary control over all customer-related activities and problems within the assigned areaSupport other factory-functional areas to complete assigned sales and marketing goalsManage the direct selling activities of specific Quincy products located in the assigned geographical territoryPerform all assigned tasks to ensure that individual and company goals are achieved in respect to maximum sales volume and profitabilityProspect new and drifted accounts to generate revenueDesign and layout compressed air solutions, focusing on 125 HP and below systemsDevelop a dealer network to help grow equipment market shareDevelop relationships with key accounts in assigned territoryTrack customer calls and provide reports accordingly using CRM tool as directedEffectively manage quote log and follow up as neededAudit compressed air systems and present resultsWork with local utility companies to process rebates for energy savingsIncrease rapport with customer via effective troubleshooting of current systemDevelop understanding of competitive landscape in compressor marketStay current with developments in all Quincy products and offeringsProvide training to customersAchieve sales goals in sales territorySkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Management considered with supplemental technical training or experienceGeneral knowledge of industrial products including compressed air products and markets, including but not limited to air compressors, vacuum pumps and air treatmentAbility to create and manage marketing plans and strategiesExceptional communication skills, self-motivated, self-starterAbility to travel frequently by air travel to attend trainings and sales meetingsExtremely proficient in Excel, CRM, search engines, and database management1 to 3 years of sales experience in compressor industry experienceBenefitsHealth insurancePaid leaveRetirement benefitsCompany OverviewQuincy Compressor designs and manufactures reciprocating compressors, rotary screw compressors and vacuum pumps.
