As a Life & Retirement Advocate, you’ll support annuity operations, process transactions, and collaborate with internal teams and field representatives to ensure a compliant experience for customers.ResponsibilitiesProcess annuity new business and in-force transactions accurately and efficientlyReview applications to ensure all requirements are received “In Good Order” and identify any discrepanciesCommunicate effectively with the field sales team via phone and email to obtain required informationGain and apply knowledge of annuity processes, including ACH transactions, allocation changes, withdrawals, and surrendersMeet or exceed established service standards, productivity, and quality goalsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiencyCollaborate with peers and leadership to maintain workflow efficiency and service excellenceSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years of college preferred1–2 years of experience in retirement services operations or financial services industryFINRA Series 6/63 licenses strongly requiredStrong understanding of retirement products, IRS tax regulations, and FINRA/SEC requirementsExcellent communication and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy; above-average math/accounting skillsPrior call center or customer service experience preferredCommitment to ongoing learning, including LOMA/ACS coursework encouragedCompany OverviewHorace Mann provides auto insurance, life insurance, and financial services.
