Individuals who seek to become counselors or therapists on Talkspace's platform must provide proof of their qualifications, including a psychology degree and a license to practice:
Ā A clinical license, which is approved by a state board, enables professionals to operate autonomously in their field, without fear of consequences or legal complications
Ā Protect yourself against potential legal action with individual malpractice insurance
Ā The provision of an application for CAQH that is completely filled out and signed
Ā Individual NPI number

Compensation:
Transparency in pay is key at Talkspace. Rest assured that you will receive a payment of $67.90 for each live session you conduct per hour. For sessions that are shorter, your pay will be calculated proportionately. Additionally, rates for text-based messaging services vary depending on the client's subscription plan.
