Our work environment includes: • Wellness programs • Growth opportunities • Flexible working hours Duties - Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders - Conduct patient assessments to gather information on mental health history and current symptoms - Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans - Monitor medications effectiveness by healthcare professionals - Monitor patients' progress and document observations - Conduct crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques as needed - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Provide individual and group therapy sessions - Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Skills - Clinical counseling skills to provide therapy and support to individuals with mental health disorders - Knowledge of gender issues counseling to address specific needs of diverse populations - Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatments - Ability to conduct patient assessments to evaluate mental health status and develop appropriate treatment plans - Understanding of counseling principles and techniques for effective patient care - Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies to manage emergency situations - Experience in diagnostic evaluation to assess mental health conditions accurately - Competence in various psychotherapy modalities for individual and group therapy sessions - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Requirements: - Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling ) - Valid licensure as a Therapist (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Associate Level Professional Counselor, Social Worker) - Experience working with children and/or adolescents preferred - Knowledge of therapeutic techniques such as DBT, CBT, Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, etc. - Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-9 for accurate documentation and billing purposes - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families - Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking therapy.
