-Experience with court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
-Excellent listening skills
-Comprehension of spelling, grammar, and literacy skills
-Ability to Collaborate Remotely
-Typing Proficiency in both Speed and Accuracy
-Ability to Process Extreme Audio/Text Content (content may be offensive)
-Ability to Pass a Background Check
-Familiarity with Legal terminology
-Court reporting students will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
-Cover depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
-Transcribe audio recordings
-Adhere to style guides and deadlines
-Strictly fulfill duties while processing audio recordings
Qualifications:
-A minimum of two years of recent experience transcribing legal content
-Excellent listening, grammar, and comprehension skills
-Knowledge of legal terminology
-Proper equipment setup and ability to work in Windows 10
-Ability to Collaborate Remotely
-Ability to type with accuracy and speed
-Ability to pass a background check
-No residence in Massachusetts or California
Responsibilities:
-Cover depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
-Transcribe audio recordings while following client-specific style guides
-Produce verbatim transcripts
