JOB TYPES : Full-time; MUST be a U.S. citizen.
THE MISSION : Transcribe multi-speaker audio recordings completely,
accurately, and in adherence to formatting standards and quality
requirements. Available and willing to commit time to an initial quality
development program.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Fast and accurate typing and word processing.
Aptitude for discerning challenging audio and accented speech.
Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.
Proofreading and editing skills.
Processing and responding well to quality feedback.
Reliably meeting established deadlines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Up-to-date PC with Microsoft operating system (10 / ), anti-virus
protection, and Word (2013 / )
High-speed Internet connection.
Foot pedal and headset (and audio player for legal work).
Availability to meet per-week production minimums.
PAYMENT : $20.00 per audio hour transcribed. Video / audio file lengths
range from 30 minutes to 2 or more hours.
