looking for someone to fill the position of a Remote Legal Transcriptionist to
work in the U.S. only.

THE MISSION: Transcribe audio/video recordings to produce a final
transcript. Verify elements of the transcript to ensure accuracy. Proofread
transcripts of legal proceedings.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
? MUST be a U.S. citizen. High school diploma or equivalent.
? At least 5 years’ experience as a legal transcriptionist.
? Minimum touch-typing speed of 60 WPM with a high degree of
accuracy. Proficient in the English language.
? Exhibit a courteous and professional demeanor with the ability to
establish and maintain effective working relationships.
? Knowledge of English, including grammar, punctuation, sentence
structure, spelling, and vocabulary.
? Knowledge of medical, legal, and technical terminology.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? Home office set-up.
? High speed internal Internet (NO satellite).
? USB-Infinity foot pedal (DVI USB foot pedals not compatible).
Headphones.
? Windows 10, Intel I3 or better processor/AMD K4 or better, 8 GB
RAM minimum, and 250 GB hard drive minimum.

PAYMENT: $20.00 per audio hour transcribed. Video/audio file lengths
range from 30 minutes to 2 or more hours.
