They are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to Client Legal Services Attorneys, manage case files, and ensure compliance with legal procedures. The role involves coordinating calendars, preparing legal documents, and maintaining communication with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated legal and administrative support to 2–3 Client Legal Services AttorneysOpen and maintain new lawsuits, ensuring accurate setup and ongoing management within case management systemsCoordinate and manage attorney calendars, including court dates, deadlines, depositions, and hearingsSchedule, prepare, and file depositions with courts and all required partiesPrepare, file, and serve pleadings and legal documents in both paper and electronic formats, including e-filing across multiple jurisdictionsProcess and manage high volumes of electronic mail related to pleadings, filings, and court correspondenceServe as a primary point of contact for courts, plaintiff counsel, IME vendors, and internal stakeholders, maintaining professional and timely communicationManage document organization, version control, and case file maintenance to ensure accuracy and complianceCoordinate issuance of settlement checks and follow up on required closing documentation to ensure timely case resolutionMonitor deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural and filing requirementsSkillsPrior exposure to a legal, litigation, claims, or professional services environment, through work experience, internships, or related administrative rolesNo-Fault experienceBasic familiarity with legal documents and processes, such as pleadings, filings, calendaring, and document managementExperience supporting multiple priorities, deadlines, or stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with electronic filing systems, document management tools, and high volumes of electronic correspondence (training provided)Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and professional communication abilitiesAbility to learn legal procedures, court requirements, and internal systems with guidanceBenefitsExceptional Work-Life BalanceHolistic Understanding of the BusinessDirect Client CollaborationStrategic Influence and ImpactDiverse Legal ChallengesProfessional Growth OpportunitiesCompany OverviewAllstate is an insurance company that offers car, home, and life insurance services.
