[Remote] Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Audinate is an innovative company that offers a platform called Iris, which enhances camera functionalities through AI. The Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for building out the Automated QA Environment, ensuring the reliability of the platform, and mentoring other engineers in the process. Responsibilities • Design, devlop, and maintain software, that verifies the reliability of the platform on all surfaces the platform runs on Browser+Electron (TS+React); Desktop (Go+Rust); Embedded (Go+Rust). • Set the ground work for all aspects of Automated QA testing, including writing initial integration tests and mentoring other engineers who are writing tests. • Develop processes that facilitate and ideally automate all aspects of the QA process, including (someday) writing tests... • Ensure every customer's Iris experience is reliable and dependable in any setting, and for any production budget. • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field, including having an opinion on the place of LLMs and AI agents in the QA testing process and continuously updating this opinion as the area evolves Skills • Proven experience as a seasoned Software Engineer • Experience with Automated QA in both Web Browsers and Robotics • Strong proficiency in JS/TS; Go; and Rust (or a willingness to learn Rust) • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a remote team • Passion for innovation and the ability to take ownership of complex projects • You have a genuine passion for computer science and software engineering, and you enjoy working on personal projects outside of work • You are proactive in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field • You have a diverse range of interests and can bring a unique perspective to problem-solving and innovation • You understand the challenges and opportunities associated with working in a small, fast-paced startup environment • You are comfortable with increased autonomy, wider job expectations, and the need to be flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment Company Overview • Audinate is an audio-visual platform that distributes digital audio and video signals that enable IT networking in the AV industry.
