Fully Remote Law Firm Billing Specialist
We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Law 1-3 year Firm Billing Specialist to handle billing with a prominent law firm. There are multiple offices and professionals can be based out of the New York, Chicago, Boston, or DC area. The position is remote, on a 37.5-hour work week, and is eligible for overtime pay.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, process, and review client billing statements in accordance with client contracts and guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of invoices to clients.
• Work with attorneys and staff to gather necessary information for billing.
• Maintain and manage billing schedules and deadlines.
• Handle billing inquiries from clients and internal teams.
• Manage accounts receivable, including tracking payments and following up on overdue invoices.
• Assist with reporting and reconciliation of billing data.
• Support continuous improvement of billing processes and procedures.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in legal billing, law firm accounting, or a similar field.
• Familiarity with law firm billing software (e.g., Elite, Aderant, or similar platforms) preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
