Job Responsibilities:
Facilitating weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
Adhering to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
Responding to students' questions and emails within established timeframes
Providing a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission
Course Teaching Opportunities:
You will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses, including:
Communication in Law Enforcement (a writing-intensive course covering effective communication skills)
Introduction to Law Enforcement
Policing
Criminal Procedure in Law Enforcement
Ethics in Leadership
Law Enforcement Capstone
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Professional or teaching experience in Law Enforcement or a related field
A PhD in Justice Studies or Criminal Justice, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Justice Studies or Criminal Justice
3 years of experience as a peace officer (or equivalent experience)
