Remote K-12 Special Education Teacher Needed | Las Vegas Special Education Opportunity

VocoVision is expanding our team of virtual educators with an opening for a Special Education Teacher to serve students in the Las Vegas area. Position Details Full-time position (35-37.5 hours weekly) K-12 grade levels with emphasis on middle and high school Mixed caseload including students with learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral challenges, and intellectual disabilities Approximately 40-60 students depending on case complexity Virtual instruction and case management responsibilities Core Responsibilities Manage IEPs and ensure compliance with all special education regulations Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals Monitor and document student progress using evidence-based assessment tools Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive support Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress Conduct virtual observations and assessments Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications to curriculum Required Qualifications Master's degree in Special Education Active Nevada special education teacher licensure Minimum of 2 years experience in school-based special education settings Experience with virtual instruction or willingness to learn Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems Strong time management and organizational skills Knowledge of evidence-based practices in special education Excellent written and verbal communication skills If interested, apply here or contact: Alex Gonzalez 470-900-4181 Las Vegas, NV 89101 Apply tot his job
