[Remote] Junior SQL Database Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Emerald Resource Group is a company based in Akron, Ohio, seeking a Junior SQL Database Administrator. The role involves working within a large SQL database enterprise environment, collaborating with the Data Architect and infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Documented success of working with clustering, high-availability, multi-node server farms will win the day!
ā¢ You will be working with the Data Architect and also the infrastructure team working collaboratively with developers and the business to insure a smooth operation
ā¢ Solid experience with SSIS, SSAS, and reporting services will also put you over the top
ā¢ Experience working as SQL DBA with applications tuning being a high priority
ā¢ Log Shipping, SQL table creation, logical design
ā¢ Data Governance and Disaster Recovery experience needed
ā¢ Experience writing MS-SQL Queries and Stored Procedures
Skills
ā¢ Must read: The company is based in Akron, Ohio and the person hired will be either local to NE Ohio or living in EST (Eastern Standard Time Zone)
ā¢ You must have a 4 year degree (computer science or MIS) from an accredited United States based university. Online degrees and bootcamp certificate will not be considered
ā¢ Experience and/or comfortable working in Christian Faith environment is required!
ā¢ Being of the Christian Faith and sharing those values are part of who we are
ā¢ There is a statement of beliefs that must align with our Christian environment that must be agreed to and signed to be considered. No exceptions

ā¢ 3+ years experience using SQL Server. (v2019/2022 will work best) with migration to 2025 coming in the new year
