[Remote] Junior Project Manager (Remote Opportunity)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VetsEZ is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support senior project and program managers in planning, coordination, and execution of project activities. This role is ideal for an early-career project management professional looking to grow within a structured PMO environment while supporting complex, mission-driven federal programs.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Support day-to-day project management activities across one or more projects or workstreams
ā¢ Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and task tracking artifacts
ā¢ Track project milestones, action items, risks, and issues
ā¢ Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and meeting notes
ā¢ Coordinate project meetings, stand-ups, and reviews
ā¢ Support communication with team members, stakeholders, and partners
ā¢ Assist with change management, dependency tracking, and requirements coordination
ā¢ Ensure adherence to project management processes and reporting standards
ā¢ Support continuous improvement of PM tools, templates, and processes
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
ā¢ 1ā3 years of experience supporting projects or operational initiatives
ā¢ Understanding of core project management concepts (scope, schedule, risks, dependencies)
ā¢ Experience with project tracking or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Confluence)
ā¢ Strong organizational and communication skills
ā¢ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
ā¢ Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments
ā¢ Experience supporting federal or government IT projects
ā¢ CAPM or entry-level project management certification (or coursework toward certification)
