They are seeking a Jr Copywriter & Marketing Coordinator to write and edit email campaigns, social captions, and paid social ad copy while also assisting in building and scheduling marketing campaigns.ResponsibilitiesWrite clear, compelling copy for email campaigns (newsletters, promos, flows/automations)Draft engaging captions and short‑form content for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)Create and iterate on paid social ad copy (hooks, headlines, primary text) for testingAdapt tone and voice across multiple brands and audiences while staying on briefSupport pitch decks and client presentations with concise, on‑brand copy as neededBuild and schedule email campaigns in tools like Klaviyo or MailchimpHelp plan and maintain social content calendars, and schedule posts using tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or similarMonitor and engage with communities by replying to comments and DMs in a timely, on‑brand wayPull basic performance metrics (opens, clicks, CTR, engagement) and assist with simple reportsStay on top of trends and competitor activity to inform new content and campaign ideasSkills1–3 years of experience in copywriting, content, email marketing, and/or social media (agency, in‑house, freelance, and internships all count)Strong writer with samples that show you can: Write clearly and conciselyShift tone between different brand voicesCraft short, punchy copy (subject lines, captions, ad hooks)Familiarity with email platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.) and social scheduling tools is a plus, but we're happy to train the right writer on the toolsComfortable reading basic performance data and using results to inform future contentOrganized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote environmentUS‑based, with native‑level English writing ability and a strong feel for US culture, slang, and trendsExperience in lifestyle, CPG, cannabis/hemp, or adjacent categoriesBasic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) for light asset tweaksCompany OverviewAt Pillar, we turn barriers into breakthroughs.
