Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java (Version: 11), JSP, Servlets, and HTML • Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime • Support ongoing development efforts, including sprint-based feature development and bug fixes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient application performance and scalability • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers as needed • Follow best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into applications • Implement unit and integration tests using JUnit or TestNG • Utilize version control systems like Git for collaborative development • Work with build tools such as Maven or Gradle for project management Skills • 3+ years of experience in Java development • Proficiency in JSP, Servlets, HTML, and MySQL • Experience in database management • Experience with RESTful web services and API integration • Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and testing frameworks • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based development • Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues • Strong communication and collaboration skills are important • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax • Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) is a plus • Experience with containerization tools like Docker • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Company Overview • CES is an information technology and business process management company.
