We're seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Remote IT Support Technician to join our team at American Airlines. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences. Job Summary:
Provide technical support for end-user computing, including software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance of PC desktop/laptop systems and peripherals.
Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user desktops and peripherals.
Collaborate with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
Remotely diagnose and resolve issues using remote tools.
Install and configure local and network-based printers.
Perform preventative maintenance and other duties as required.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience/training.
2+ years of hands-on IT experience supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues.
Firsthand experience supporting PCs in a Windows/TCPIP environment.
A+ certification and MCSE/MCP are a plus.
General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10.
Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
