Job Overview
We are in search of a skilled IT Support Specialist to become a crucial member of our innovative team, responsible for the stewardship and enhancement of our global IT infrastructure. This position is pivotal in ensuring compliance with security best practices and SOC 2 standards while managing the technical needs of our remote workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Deliver comprehensive service desk support on a global scale, managing access controls for information systems.
Ā Oversee remote workstations to guarantee the deployment of Antivirus, Firewalls, Backups, Disk Encryption, Applications, and Security Updates through MDM.
Ā Supervise the inventory management of laptops and devices across a geographically distributed team, handling procurement, setup, and returns.
Ā Manage the procurement and renewal of software licenses and cloud subscriptions for end users.
Ā Coordinate critical tasks across various time zones to facilitate operational efficiency.
Ā Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve ICT-related challenges and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
Ā Partner with compliance and information security teams to implement and uphold IT and security protocols.
Ā Assist senior leadership in identifying deficiencies in services, compliance, and security measures.
Required Skills
Ā Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in technical support or IT service desk environments, particularly with SaaS tools in distributed settings.
Ā Advanced expertise with the Microsoft technology stack, including troubleshooting remote end-user issues across Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office, and Azure identity management.
Ā Strong skills in automation and scripting, coupled with a desire to streamline processes.
Ā Capacity to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaboratively solving problems.
Ā Proven proficiency in working independently as well as within a globally dispersed team.
Ā Experience managing process transformations to achieve compliance and security objectives.
Ā Excellent communication abilities to educate and inform end users about compliance and security practices.
Qualifications
Ā At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT support.
Ā Proven background in administering SaaS tools within distributed environments.
