We are seeking an accomplished Business Systems Analyst (IT Asset Data Analyst) who is enthusiastic about leveraging data analysis to drive impactful results in the engineering sector. This is a contract opportunity offering the potential for full-time employment, allowing you to contribute to significant projects with a forward-thinking client. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret intricate data sets to derive actionable insights. • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize IT asset management processes. • Employ tools such as MS Power BI and ServiceNow for effective data management. Required Skills • Robust expertise in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis. • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Power BI. • Familiar with ServiceNow (including HAM Pro and SAM Pro and CMDB), Splunk (preferred), and PowerBI (preferred). • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of the System/Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management Methodologies. • Understanding of Finance and Procurement processes (accounts payable, depreciation, net book value, fixed assets). • Proactive mindset towards process enhancement. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in data analysis. • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or a relevant area.
