[Remote] Investment Operations (Accounting)

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of client accounts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting operational efficiency within the investment process.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Perform daily cash and position reconciliations using systems such as Electra and Eagle
ā¢ Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks promptly to maintain accurate client records
ā¢ Liaise with custodians to resolve data discrepancies and ensure timely settlement of trades
ā¢ Collaborate with internal teams (Portfolio Management, Fund Treasury, Settlements) to address exceptions and operational issues
ā¢ Prepare and review monthly reconciled positions reports and sign-off on month-end holdings
ā¢ Support audit requirements, including SSAE-16 testing and internal control documentation
ā¢ Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation workflows and enhance data accuracy
ā¢ Assist in implementing system upgrades and automation initiatives
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ā¢ 2+ years of experience in investment operations or client accounting
ā¢ Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and investment accounting principles
ā¢ Proficiency in reconciliation tools (Electra, Eagle) and Microsoft Excel
ā¢ Clear and effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external custodians
ā¢ Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
