Role Overview

As a Remote Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory of raw materials and sample cuts for eCommerce customer orders and FDX program fulfillment to stores. Your key responsibilities will include managing inventory functions for the PRC (Loc.798) through inbound receiving, outbound transfers, and inventory adjustments, ensuring that inventory is accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities


Perform scheduled inventory cycle counts and maintain precise documentation of cycle count procedures as per internal guidelines.
Investigate all inconsistencies associated with inventory and update the inventory system accordingly.
Convey any discrepancies uncovered during the CCYL to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
Conduct daily audits of the NIR in accordance with the SOP for inventory control.
Review and reconcile the Allocated Sales Report (ASR) on a daily basis.
Ensure that inventory disposition is executed as directed, scrutinizing weekly SILVON generated reports issued by the Inventory Control Supervisor for inventory codes EX, AD, WO, VA, US & DM.
Evaluate SILVON reports with less than 50 entries or Top 150 OH (SILVON) on a weekly basis to address any exceptions.
Audit shipping and receiving documents for accuracy as part of auditing all trucks entering and leaving the facility.
Employ system-based processes to manage the receipt of incoming POs and transfers.
Support the Inventory Control Supervisor in conducting the physical inventory check.


Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:


1-3 years of involvement in inventory activities in a warehouse environment.
Ability to apply RF scanning and data capture device technology.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
Aptitude to handle diverse tasks concurrently, accomplish goals in a timely manner, and perform optimally in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Strong customer service abilities and ability to operate effectively under stress.


Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus:


Business analysis experience.
Experience with warehouse management systems.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

While this is a remote role, you should be aware of the physical demands associated with inventory control work in a warehouse environment:


Ability to exert a force between 10-50 pounds while lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects.
Constantly able to employ a force of 10 pounds to transport, push, pick up, or relocate objects.
Frequent use of hands and fingers to interact with items.
Occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, or balancing, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.


Environmental Exposure

While working remotely, you will not be exposed to the warehouse environment. However, it's essential to be aware of the conditions that inventory control specialists may face in a warehouse setting:


Frequent exposure to vehicular movements.
