[Remote] interim Sr. Accountant (contract)

They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team on a long-term contract basis, focusing on cash flow management and reconciliation processes. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain cash flow templates to support audit procedures and financial reviews. • Perform detailed cash flow roll-forward analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. • Reconcile cash accounts and balance sheets, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting. • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit requirements. • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and analyze financial reports. • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions. • Support financial operations by improving processes and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Skills • Proven experience in accounting processes, including general ledger management and reconciliations. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. • Strong knowledge of cash flow management and template creation. • Experience with month-end close procedures and journal entries. • Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. • Ability to perform detailed bank reconciliations and financial reporting. • Prior experience with internal or external audits is highly desirable. • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is preferred.
