Key Responsibilities
Deliver captivating and interactive math lessons in accordance with the camps curriculum, ensuring an engaging learning experience for every participant.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, active involvement, and critical thinking among students.
Track and assess student progress throughout the duration of the camp, providing constructive feedback to enhance their comprehension of mathematical concepts.
Assist in the seamless functioning of the camp, engaging in various activities such as check-in/check-out, study hall supervision, and seminars as required.
Required Skills
Profound understanding of mathematical concepts and advanced problem-solving methodologies.
Proven experience teaching mathematics to students in grades 6-12.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with students and fellow instructors.
A strong enthusiasm for motivating and inspiring students in a dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree or higher in Mathematics or a related STEM discipline (candidates pursuing or holding a graduate degree are highly favored).
Experience instructing math to students in the specified grade range, with familiarity with math contests such as AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME.
