[Remote] Insights Analyst, Energy

They are seeking an Insights Analyst to design and deliver research for clients in the energy industry, utilizing various research methodologies to provide insights and reports based on data analysis.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in study design meetings with project team and/or clientsExecute research projects using a variety of research methodologiesDemonstrate understanding of survey sampling concepts, their impact, and useDraft questionnaires using our preferred questionnaire writing processesFormat surveys and prepare for programmingMonitor the quality of the data and discard non-qualified respondents (set and apply strike criteria)Execute phases of the analysis plan with guidance from experienced team membersAnalyze research results and create graphical displays to convey the implications of the dataCreate reports that include effective graphs, tables, summaries, and narrativesSkillsMust have a Bachelor degree in a related fieldMinimum 1 year of prior Market Research experience (as Intern or entry-level market research role)Prefer 2 – 3 years prior work experience in market research supplier roleMust demonstrate knowledge of basic statistics, research procedures, and survey methodologyExperience with Qualtrics (ability to navigate/edit data, troubleshoot surveys, work on dashboards, etc.)Proficiency in SPSS requiredExperience with data mapping, troubleshooting data that doesn't make sense, weighting data, etcMust have effective communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust show strong organizational skills, time management and attention to detail abilitiesWorks well on multiple projects simultaneously and under pressureMust be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Minimal travel - 1–2 client trips/yearExperience with any of these softwares is helpful: Forsta, Crunch.io, Alchemer, CoLoop or AscribeBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Large carriers on a national level (domestic partner coverage included)401k with Company Match – No vesting period; bi-weekly contributionsFlexible PTO - Feel no guilt in taking off a minimum of 3 weeks of “real” vacation timePaid Parental Leave (including adoption)12 Paid Company HolidaysHybrid/Virtual Work - Virtual-first workforce with employees in most statesCompany OverviewEscalent operates as a human behavior and analytics firm.
