[Remote] Incontestable Claims Examiner II (Remote)

They are seeking an Incontestable Claims Examiner II who will be responsible for reviewing and processing incontestable life claims with a high degree of accuracy. Responsibilities • Investigate all incontestable life claims and processes in accordance with policy provisions and Company procedures with a high degree of accuracy.• Contact outside 3rd parties and obtain additional claim information needed by telephone, e-mail, or written correspondence. • Update system notes with claim progress. • Responsible for claim movement and progression. • Maintain production data and must meet the production quota set by the department. • Other duties as required by the department. Skills • High School Diploma. • 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Must be PC/Windows literate.• A working, executable knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word). • Data entry and 10-key skills by touch and sight. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Must have a strong working knowledge of medical terminology. • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift. • Ability to work full-time based on the position specifications. • Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims handling experience preferred. • Bilingual skills are a plus. • Previous experience in a Claims service environment preferred.• Minimum of five years of prior phone/customer service and office experience.
