About the Role:
As a Human Resources Consultant, you'll provide expert support to clients on all HR matters, including compensation, benefits, payroll administration, policies, onboarding, off-boarding, recruiting, performance management, and employee relations. You'll ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and serve as a trusted HR contact for client stakeholders, internal HR teams, and employees.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing strategic and practical plans to address human resources matters
Assessing clients' organizations, processes, and systems to recommend actions for compliance and automation
Developing and implementing policies, including state variations
Facilitating training content and webinars
Managing critical relationships with client representatives, including employees, management, and vendors
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
At least 8 years of professional HR experience, with a focus on employment-related compliance knowledge
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Advanced working knowledge of state and federal regulations, including COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and ADA
Certifications related to HR, Payroll, or Benefits (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, FPC, CPP, CEBS) are preferred
