As a Human Resources Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for employees seeking support, guiding them through HR systems and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for employees seeking supportâlistening, troubleshooting, and expertly directing inquiries appropriatelyGuide employees through selfâservice tools and resources, helping them confidently navigate HR systems and direct access materialsFollow and uphold established HR Advisor workflows, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and service excellence across all team operationsLead the onboarding experience by managing post-offer screenings, coordinating with Talent Acquisition and site leadership, completing HRIS requirements, and ensuring firstâday readiness for every new hirePartner closely with field Business Office Managers and Specialists to track required employee documentation and verify all certifications are current and compliant with standardized processesConduct annual background screenings for staff and medical directors, promptly flagging any concerns to the Regional HR DirectorPerform compliance audits as needed and escalate any findings or irregularities to HR leadershipDraft, prepare, and format letters, documents, and presentations, supporting a variety of HR communications and initiativesMaintain accurate employee files for both home office and field locations, ensuring all information is complete, organized, and audit-readyReview field documentation to ensure alignment with CHAP standards as well as state and local regulatory requirementsBuild strong, positive working relationships with coworkers, leaders, and vendorsâserving as a trusted partner who communicates clearly and professionallySupport key HR initiatives, including retention programs, employee engagement surveys, and ESG-related projectsProvide essential HRIS support, including password resets, PAF guidance, and other entry-level system tasks that keep operations running smoothlyTake on additional responsibilities as assigned, embracing a dynamic environment where no two days look exactly alikeOther duties as assignedSkillsUp to three (3) years working in administrative office environmentOne (1) to Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources or in a fast-paced high-volume environmentKnowledge of HR processes, policies, best practices, and State and Federal Labor LawsAbility to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all timesStrong skills in Microsoft office specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint and in HRIS systemsExcellent analytical and organizational skills, resulting in the ability to problem solve in a busy environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines, and good attention to detailStrong customer service skills with a positive attitudeAbility to work self-sufficiently but in a team environmentBenefitsTuition ReimbursementPTO and Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and moreHSA & 401(k) availableMileage Reimbursement for applicable positionsAdvanced training programsPassionate company culture committed to the highest standard of care in the hospice industryCompany OverviewOperates and manages hospice programs in seven states.
