Job Overview:
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Central Advisor to join our team at Workwarp, providing exceptional support to our Human Resources department. As a key member of our HR Central Team, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch service to our employees, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring seamless HR operations. This is a temporary contract position, covering a Leave of Absence until approximately February 28, 2025, with the opportunity to work remotely from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level HR support, answering general inquiries, and resolving issues related to HR, payroll, policies, and procedures
Manage multiple HR programs, including onboarding, unemployment, education verifications, and offboarding
Deliver high-quality employee experiences through exceptional customer support, utilizing knowledge management tools and self-service resources
Conduct New Hire Orientation, produce ad hoc HR statistics and reporting, and document all customer interactions via our Salesforce case management system
Collaborate with the HR Shared Services team to ensure effective resolution of complex inquiries, meeting established Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
Utilize technology and software to complete work assignments, including HR-specific programs and tools
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources (preferred)
3+ years of experience in Human Resources (if High School diploma only), or 1+ years of related work experience (if Bachelor's degree)
Ability to apply fundamental HR principles, company policies, and practices to assigned tasks
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential assignments and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with California HR principles, practices, and procedures (preferred but not mandatory)
