Remote Hospital Inpatient Coding Specialist

As a Coder, you research and analyze data needed for proper coding and reimbursement. You review and verify documentation that supports diagnoses, procedures and treatment results. You assign codes for reimbursement, perform research, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and other coding guidelines. You research, analyze, recommend, and facilitate plans of action to correct discrepancies and prevent future coding errors. You serve as a resource and subject matter expert to other billing/coding staff. You work effectively and efficiently with your assigned work.
