As a HEDIS Review Nurse, you will play a critical role in coordinating and performing onsite data collection and data entry, with a focus on HEDIS chart abstraction, data collection, and related activities.
Job Summary:
Conduct complete and accurate medical record reviews of charts collected from provider offices
Abstract critical data from medical records received via fax, mail, or electronic means for all HEDIS measures
Work with various patient populations and ensure data accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
Valid, unrestricted state nursing license (R.N. or L.P.N.)
4+ years of recent experience in HEDIS data abstraction
Ability to review and extract significant data from medical records
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical record systems, and HEDIS standards and reporting requirements
Proficient in MS Office, email, EMR systems, and multiple data management programs
Superior verbal and written communication skills
