[Remote] Hedge Fund / Asset Management Expert (Remote)

Keystone Recruitment is seeking an experienced Hedge Fund / Asset Management Expert to contribute to a public markets evaluation and research initiative. This role involves assessing investment research outputs and financial models to ensure they meet institutional-quality standards. Responsibilities • Review and evaluate equity and/or credit research work for analytical rigor and depth • Assess valuation models and investment theses for alignment with institutional best practices • Provide clear, structured written feedback grounded in evidence-based reasoning • Collaborate with peers to develop standardized rubrics and evaluation criteria • Participate in panel sessions to score and differentiate analyst-level work products • Contribute sector and market insights across equities, credit, and multi-asset classes • Help identify levels of analyst proficiency and provide constructive developmental feedback Skills • Minimum 5 years of institutional experience in hedge funds, asset management, family offices, or multi-asset/credit research platforms • Demonstrated expertise in fundamental equity and/or credit research, including financial modeling and valuation (e.g., DCF, comparable analysis, NAV methodologies) • Strong background in portfolio construction and position-level risk assessment • Experience reviewing, critiquing, or mentoring analyst-level research work • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail • High standard of professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality • Experience as a Senior Analyst, Portfolio Manager, or Research Lead in an institutional investment environment • Sector expertise in areas such as technology, industrials, energy, financials, healthcare, or fixed income (investment grade, high yield, bank loans, structured credit) • Professional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, FRM, or equivalent Company Overview • Great companies are built on strong people.
