[Remote] Hedge Fund Accountant (C Suite Outsourcing- Hedge and Private Equity)

ConnectMe Capital is partnering with an established CFO/COO/CCO service provider to Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, and Family Offices to find an experienced Hedge Fund Controller/Manager. This senior role offers the opportunity to work with top-tier hedge fund and private equity clients and fund administrators, overseeing critical financial processes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Supervise preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial deliverables • Collaborate with fund administrators for NAV reviews, valuations, and financial statements • Lead annual audit/tax processes, investor relations requests, and Operational Due Diligence (ODD) meetings • Oversee portfolio reconciliations and liaise with counterparties • Participate in vendor due diligence, regulatory filings, and manage subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with various teams, including legal, compliance, and tax Skills • 8-15 years in Hedge Fund Audit or Hedge Fund Accounting, or a mix with Private Equity. MUST be strong on the hedge fund accounting • In-depth experience with Hedge Fund Operations • Management or Supervisory experience required • Experience with Private Equity Funds or Hybrid Funds (waterfalls knowledge is a plus) • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v/h lookups preferred) • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration • CPA and QuickBooks experience are a plus Benefits • Hybrid work (2 days in office) or remote from MST or PST time zones • Join a dynamic, growing firm serving top-tier hedge funds and private equity clients. • Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong growth potential.
