Job Title: Product Owner

Job Overview: As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality products to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. You will serve as the primary liaison between the business, development teams, and other stakeholders, defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and a customer advocate with a great understanding of agile methodologies and product management best practices.

MUST HAVE HEALTHCARE BACKGROUND*

Product Vision and Strategy:
• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements to align with the product vision and deliver maximum value.
Feature Definition and Prioritization:
• Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams, to define and prioritize product features and user stories.
• Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritized, and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Break down high-level requirements into actionable tasks and user stories, providing clarity and direction to the development team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the business and development teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, to ensure development efforts are focused and efficient.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly products to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Product Delivery and Release Management:
• Work closely with the development team to ensure product releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and take proactive steps to address them to minimize impact on delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to plan and execute product releases, including release notes, user documentation, and training materials.
Continuous Improvement:
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product team, encouraging feedback, experimentation, and learning.
• Conduct post-mortem reviews and retrospectives to evaluate the success of product releases and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Actively seek feedback from customers and stakeholders to inform future product iterations and enhancements.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Product Owner (1+ years) or similar role in a technology-driven environment, preferably within an Agile framework.
• 5 year's experience in the Business or Product Analyst space
• understanding of agile methodologies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and make data-driven decisions.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and driving customer satisfaction.
• Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with software development processes and technologies is a plus.
