[Remote] Healthcare Data Analyst (FHIR Specialist)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Prodware Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst specializing in FHIR. The role involves performing healthcare data analysis, ensuring interoperability of clinical data, and collaborating with technical resources to resolve data quality issues. Responsibilities • Perform Health care Data Analysis, Data profiling of Raw/source data to derive meaningful insights and document data requirements to support new data source onboarding process • Determines approaches to interoperability of Clinical/Healthcare data, including mapping of clinical content to data standards to support use case requirements • Analyze and Validate Data to ensure the appropriate data modeling, vocabulary, terminology, and code-set standard for representing and harmonizing Healthcare data • Collaborates with technical resources to perform root cause analysis and complete remediation of data quality issues • Understand and examine healthcare data received from different applications/vendors & build the data modeling/mapping for converting the raw Healthcare data into FHIR format • Interact with different business units translate their data needs into requirements Skills • Experience in a Data/IT engineering role in health care domain • Must be very familiar FHIR API and resources, data mapping between HL7 v2 and FHIR • Ability to develop source to target maps, perform functional testing of FHIR outputs • Strong understanding and knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7 V2 messages, HL7 CCDA, HL7 FHIR, and IHE ITI transactions • Working experience with the following HL7 interfaces/messages: ADT, ORM, ORU, RDE and MDM with good understanding of the principles of asynchronous information exchange interface • Working in a fluid environment, defining, and owning priorities that adapt to our larger goals. You can bring clarity to ambiguity while remaining open-minded to new information that might change your mind • Should have strong understanding of healthcare data, including clinical data in both proprietary and industry standard formats • Understand the dirtiness of clinical data and seek out ways to improve conformance and quality • Excellent documentation skills, including workflow documentation and diagrams • 5+ years of experience with FHIR/HL7 platforms & technologies and knowledge of Healthcare Industry standards and requirements • 5+ years of experience in healthcare industry with proven understanding of data terminology • 5+ years' experience in Continuity of Care Documents (CCD), Consolidated Clinical Document Architectures (CCDA) and HL7 V2 data handling • 5+ years' experience in HL7 FHIR v4 • 5+ years of experience in Interoperability and FHIR concepts • Strong understanding of Data formats and other Healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, SNOMED, CPT, LOINC) • Intermediate level experience in SQL queries • Demonstrated advanced analytical and reporting skills Company Overview • Prodware Solutions provides IT consulting services and oracle JD Edward solutions.
