At arenaflex, we've mastered the art of combining cutting-edge technology with genuine human connection. Our award-winning employment experience has earned us Great Place to Work® certification in the United States, and our employees consistently rank us as an exceptional place to build a career. When you join the arenaflex family, you're not just accepting a job—you're becoming part of a global community of curious lifelong learners who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives every single day.

Why This Role Matters

Healthcare can be complex, overwhelming, and sometimes intimidating for many people. As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you become a trusted guide through that complexity. Whether it's helping a family understand their coverage options, assisting a senior citizen navigate their prescription benefits, or simply providing a comforting voice during a confusing moment, your work directly impacts someone's health and wellbeing.

You'll be the difference between a customer having an average experience and an exceptional one. Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust, provide clarity, and demonstrate that at arenaflex, we truly care about the people we serve. This isn't just about answering phones or responding to messages—it's about being a compassionate advocate for healthcare consumers across the nation.

What You'll Be Doing

During a typical day in this role, you'll find yourself engaged in meaningful work that makes a real difference. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Providing Exceptional Member Support: Bring your passion and strong product knowledge to recommend appropriate upgrades to health plans based on individual needs and circumstances. You'll be the expert customers turn to when they need guidance on their healthcare options.
Answering Health Benefits Questions: Conduct thorough research and make outbound calls to provide accurate, helpful answers regarding general healthcare benefits, eligibility requirements, coverage details, and policy information. Your expertise will help customers make informed decisions about their health.
Enrollment Assistance: Handle enrollment status requests for both new and existing members, guiding them through the process with patience and clarity. You'll ensure they understand their options and help them complete necessary steps successfully.
Technical Support: Assist members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health accounts. Help them locate important information about doctors, facilities, and in-network providers. You'll be their tech support ally in managing their healthcare digitally.
Issue Resolution: Find resolutions for customer issues with a smile, turning potentially frustrating situations into positive interactions. Your problem-solving skills and positive attitude will transform challenging calls into satisfied customers.
Compliance & Privacy: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy, treating every piece of information with the same care and confidentiality you would expect for your own personal data.

What You Bring to arenaflex

We're looking for individuals who combine technical capability with genuine compassion. The ideal candidate will bring:

Essential Qualifications:

Customer Service Experience: At least 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare, insurance, or call center environment. You understand how to handle diverse customer needs and de-escalate challenging situations.
HIPAA Knowledge: Strong integrity and understanding of HIPAA guidelines, demonstrating your commitment to protecting patient privacy and confidential health information. This is non-negotiable—patient trust is fundamental to everything we do.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. We value real-world experience and soft skills just as much as formal education.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers and various software applications. You're not afraid to learn new systems and adapt to changing technology.

Technical Requirements:

Internet Connection: High-speed internet connection (greater than 15 Mbps) to ensure smooth, uninterrupted communication with customers. A reliable connection is essential for providing the level of service our members deserve.
