About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and fast-paced Health Claims Document Processor to support our Supplemental Health Claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing a high volume of incoming emails by identifying relevant documents and medical records and uploading them to the appropriate claim files. Key Responsibilities • Review and process incoming emails and documents with speed and accuracy. • Identify and categorize documents, then upload them to the appropriate claim files using internal systems. • Upload documents to the correct claim files using internal systems. • Meet a 24-hour turnaround time for all incoming documentation. • Collaborate with team members to manage daily volume efficiently. • Work a flexible schedule that includes a few hours over the weekend. Qualifications • Experience in medical/health claims, medical records, health benefits or medical billing & coding experience is highly preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe PDF creation. • Transferable experience includes claims processing, benefits, medical coding, medical records, etc. • Understanding of HIPAA compliance • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Details • 100% remote | Equipment Provided. • Applicants must provide the internet and a quiet workspace. • Pay: $18 - $22/hr. based on related experience or education • Pay cycle – Weekly | Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits offered. • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm (PST) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
