[Remote] Head of Engineering(Hardware & Embedded Systems & AI)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nexar Dynamics is an early-stage Estonia-based company developing a smart recycling device integrating mechanical systems, embedded control, and AI-based classification. They are seeking a hands-on engineering lead to coordinate multidisciplinary technical development and support structured progress toward an MVP prototype. Responsibilities • Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded, and AI workstreams • Support structured weekly execution and progress tracking • Oversee hardware-software integration planning • Clarify deliverables and technical ownership • Identify and manage system-level risks • Review prototype architecture and component decisions • Provide structured technical updates to leadership Skills • Experience contributing to at least one hardware prototype reaching demo stage • Background in Robotics, Mechatronics, IoT, or hardware systems • Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams • System-level thinking (interfaces, reliability, safety considerations) • Strong documentation and communication skills • Professional English proficiency Benefits • Early-stage equity participation (ESOP structure) Company Overview • Nexar Dynamics is a technology company focused on developing AI-powered smart recycling systems for homes and offices.
