[Remote] GraphQL API Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Transcend Softech LLC is seeking a GraphQL API Developer to join their team. The role involves designing and managing APIs with a focus on scalability, security, and usability, while collaborating with various stakeholders to meet software product requirements.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Experience with API gateways and API management platforms (e.g., Azure API Management), including authentication, authorization, routing, throttling, and policy-based controls
ā¢ Demonstrated expertise in API design, design patterns, development, and lifecycle management, including REST, GraphQL, or event-driven architectures, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and developer usability
ā¢ Experience with API security standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, scopes/claims, token flows, and common authorization patterns)
ā¢ Experience operating APIs in cloud environments (preferably Azure), including observability practices such as Application Insights or Open Telemetry
ā¢ Technology fundamentals, design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
ā¢ Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and product management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
ā¢ Delivery experience working under an Agile/Scrum methodology
ā¢ Working experience of software engineering best practices including coding standards, change management, manage incidents, CI/CD, Automated testing, cloud native development build processes, testing, and operations
Skills
