[Remote] Global Regulatory Counsel

The role of Global Regulatory Counsel involves providing strategic and tactical regulatory advice for a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company, focusing on money transfer products and regulatory strategy. Responsibilities • Act as the single regulatory point of contact for Direct to Scheme (D2S), streamlining engagement and governance • Lead global D2S regulatory strategy, including Phase 2 planning and execution • Manage local regulatory advice for scheme connections and Phase 2 build-out • Manage license application preparation, readiness assessments and guidance • Support regulator and scheme operator engagements • Consolidate obligations across schemes to optimize sequencing and leverage lessons learned • Coordinate with local counsel and compliance while owning all deliverables • Create global documentation for D2S regulatory strategy to ensure smooth transition post-contract Skills • Candidates must be able to work full-time • Ideally the work will be performed on-site for 3 days per week in London. Secondly the preference would be for someone on-site in NYC.
