[Remote] Fund Accountant –Hedge / Private Equity / Venture Capital (C Suite Outsourcing)

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ConnectMe Capital is a growing C suite outsourcing firm seeking a Fund Accountant with experience in hedge fund and private equity accounting. In this role, you will support fund operations and accounting for CFOs, manage various responsibilities, and eventually take on your own clients. Responsibilities • Support fund operations and accounting for CFOs • Handle trade breaks • Code trades to correct strategies • Collect/handle invoices (pay or send to admins) • Monitor/answer emails on general fund issues • Coordinate audits • Set up wires • Handle morning reports • Prepare schedules • Some compliance work • Pricing • Send PNL updates throughout the day • Book entries in portfolio accounting system • Make sure accounting entries are correct • Recalculate fees for allocations • Help with subs, reds, DDQs • Deal with tear sheets • Service clients Skills • Minimum 2/3 years’ experience with hedge fund or private equity accounting /operations • Will do a lot of support work around the accounting and operations and will eventually take on their own clients as they grow • Get to wear many hats!: handling trade breaks, coding trades to correct strategies, collecting/handling invoices (pay or send to admins), monitoring/answering emails on general fund issues, coordinating audits, set up wires, handle morning reports, prepare schedules, some compliance work, pricing, sending PNL updates throughout the day, booking entries in portfolio accounting system, making sure accounting entries are correct, recalculating fees for allocations, helping with subs, reds, DDQs, dealing with tear sheets, servicing clients.• Fund admin experience is ideal! • Remote Ok-need to travel for training • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software Company Overview • ConnectMe Capital, LLC specializes in recruitment for the Financial Industry and Renewable Energy sectors across the US and Canada.
