Key Responsibilities
Ā Instruct core subjects to a diverse student body ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade within a fully remote classroom setting.
Ā Engage with students in a full-time capacity, Monday through Friday, for approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Ā Begin immediately, with the position lasting until the conclusion of the 2024-2025 school year, and the potential for renewal for the following academic year.
Qualifications
Ā A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Ā Possession of a current West Virginia Teaching Certification or eligibility to obtain one.
Ā Demonstrated experience in K-12 general education; experience with virtual instruction is advantageous.
Ā Professional liability insurance, to be acquired upon offer acceptance.
Required Skills
Ā Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Ā Proven capability to establish rapport with students and cultivate a positive and engaging virtual classroom atmosphere.
Ā Excellent problem-solving skills, with adaptability to various teaching scenarios.
Ā Proficient in educational technologies and software, including Zoom and Google Classroom.
