Remote Special Education Teacher (SPED)
Location: LaFayette, GA (Remote Position)

Hours: Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our growing network. This role will involve working with elementary school students, mainly in 3rd grade, within an inclusive classroom. The instructor will support students alongside a general education teacher and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with district training and support. The district will provide comprehensive guidance for IEP creation.
Key Responsibilities:
Β Work with elementary students (2ndΒ4th grade, mainly 3rd grade) in an inclusive setting
Β Collaborate with general education staff to create a positive learning environment
Β Design and implement IEPs with the assistance of district-provided training
Β Ensure all students receive the accommodations they need to succeed academically
Qualifications:
Β Valid Special Education Teaching Credential for Georgia
Β Prior experience working in special education with elementary-aged students
Β Strong communication skills, particularly for remote collaboration
Β Ability to work independently and effectively in a virtual setting
