Key Responsibilities
Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards to ensure transaction accuracy.
Manage a portfolio of 10-20 clients, assisting with accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Facilitate payroll processes, tax filings, and sales tax collections for clients.
Maintain precise financial records and spreadsheets documenting all transactions.
Prepare and submit daily reports to management while tracking time for each client.
Address and resolve discrepancies within QuickBooks Online proficiently.
Provide assistance with loans, budgeting, and various ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
Required Skills
1-3 years of direct experience with QuickBooks Online is essential.
1-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably with small businesses.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while demonstrating confidentiality.
Proficiency in utilizing technology, including a functional computer setup with high-speed internet.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
Proven experience in bookkeeping/accounting, ideally within small businesses.
